Cell Culture and Processing Bags

The VueLife® cell culture bags offer a highly permeable solution for cell culture and processing applications. Traditionally featuring a needle-less injection site and at least one PVC tubing length for sterile docking, the unique bag design allows for closed system processing.

VueLife® “C” Bags

VueLife “C” Cell Culture Bags are made from the highest quality USP Class VI fluorinated ethylene propylene (FEP) material. The high permeability to oxygen and carbon dioxide allows cellular respiration and improved cell expansion.

Each “C” series bag typically features a needle-less injection site and a “Y” connector with PVC tubing leading to a female luer and a heat-sealed sterile docking tube to greatly reduce the risk of culture contamination while allowing easy access for the introduction of new material. Other types of ports, tubing and connections are available and can be customised to the needs of the user.

Applications

Culture of highly concentrated T cells, or NK cells and other leukocytes.

Maturation of dendritic cells.

Sterile expansion of cord blood.

VueLife® “AC” Bags

VueLife “AC” Cell Culture Bags utilise a treated form of fluorinated ethylene propylene (FEP) film. This results in the bag interior having a higher surface energy than the VueLife “C” Bag. The modified surface is meant to better promote cell and protein adhesion to the surface of the bag, a feature that can be leveraged for transduction and transfection applications.

Each “AC” series bag typically features a needle-less injection site and a “Y” connector with PVC tubing leading to a female luer and a heat-sealed sterile docking tube to greatly reduce the risk of culture contamination while allowing easy access for the introduction of new material. Other types of ports, tubing and connections are available and can be customised to the needs of the user.

VueLife® “HP” Bags

VueLife® “HP” Cell Culture Bags are newly designed cell culture bags for closed system, efficient and scalable cell expansion.

By using the novel highly permeable “HP” laminate, allows for increased rates of gas transmission as required by rapidly expanding cell types, such as lymphocytes. Developing this laminate using VueLife® FEP as the fluid contact layer, VueLife® “HP” takes advantage of the key properties inherent to fluoropolymers such as purity and biological and chemical inertness.
