Single-Use Assemblies can be gamma irradiated to a dose between 25-45 kGy and are supplied with a gamma certificate issued as standard.
Assemblies can be supplied non-irradiated for process development applications. Which can provide a cost-saving in development stages where irradiation is not required.
Gamma irradiation dosage is measured in kilogray (kGy) units, which quantify the absorbed energy of radiation. One gray is the absorption of one joule of radiation energy by one kilogram of matter (one kGy = one joule/gram).
