Location: Salford, Greater Manchester (close to the Quays with on-site parking and easy access to public transport)   

Salary: Competitive

Holidays: 22 Days + Xmas shutdown and Bank Holidays

Working Hours: 9am-5pm Mon-Thurs, 9am-4pm Friday.

The Role

We are looking for a manager to lead the sales team in this exciting period of growth. This new role reflects the growth of the business and offers a real opportunity for you to shape the future of the sales operations at the company going forward.

With direct input into the team development and sales strategy, reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will have responsibility for the running of a small sales team and work closely with the Marketing Executive in continuing to raise the profile of the business across multiple media platforms. Supporting the sales team in their personal development, as well as on customer calls, you will be responsible for ensuring budgets and KPI’s are met.

Based out of our facility close to Salford Quays, there will be a requirement to travel across the UK with some occasional European travel, all business travel will be fully expensed.

The Candidate

With a minimum of 5 years B2B sales experience, the ideal candidate will have a background in technical sales with a solution sales approach in an area such as filtration, process control, fluid power management or engineering sales.

Although experience within the life sciences sector or similarly highly regulated industry would be an advantage it is not necessarily essential for this role as full training will be provided.
