MicroCNX™ Connectors introduce a new category of aseptic micro-connectors that provide a simple, efficient method of connecting tubing for small-format biomanufacturing assemblies.
Building on the reliability you are accustomed to from CPC, the leader in single-use connection technology, the MicroCNX™ line of connectors are engineered specifically for the challenging conditions of biologic media transfer in bioprocessing, cell therapy and gene therapy applications.
MicroCNX™ micro-connectors are designed specifically for small-volume processes. These include sampling, seed train expansion and early cell culture processes involving shaker flasks and rocker tables.
Available in 1/16”, 3/32” and 1/8” ID hose barb (1.6mm, 2.4mm, 3.2mm)
The micro-connectors can be gamma irradiated (Up to 50kGy) and are autoclavable for one cycle up to 266°F (130°C) for 60 minutes.
Micro-connectors – Easy, Sterile Small Format Connections
It’s easy to make sterile, small-format connections with MicroCNX connectors, the three-step process requires minimal training.
It’s as simple as “Pinch-Click-Pull”
Pinch to remove the protective cover
Click together the connector halves
Pull out the protective membranes
Intuitive three-step connection process reduces risk of operator error
Lowers risk of operator error and related performance, reliability and safety concerns
Eases single-use systems specifications with one part number for both halves
Audible confirmation of assembly with no additional hardware required
Easy to use
Fast and reliable
